Polaris Semiconductor's ISS Project: One Giant Leap Closer to Launch!
We're excited to share a major milestone in our International Space Station (ISS) project. Our device testboard development is now complete!
Polaris Semiconductor is sending a handful of our extremely low-noise, high-efficiency, switching-free DC voltage regulators on a flight to the ISS to test their performance in space.
Our telemetry testboards were assembled at Flash PCB, our exceptional assembly partner. Their craftsmanship is truly out of this world!
Next Stop: Launch Preparation
Our testboard assembly is now en route to Aegis Aerospace, our integration partner. There, it will undergo rigorous launch testing and be integrated into Aegis' MISSE Flight Facility. We're on track for the MISSE-21 mission launch in early 2025!
Gratitude to Our Partners
A huge thank you to the whole team at Flash PCB for their on-time delivery, ease of quoting, and phenomenal results. Their expertise is helping us push the boundaries of semiconductor technology in space!
We also extend our heartfelt thanks to:
• International Space Station National Laboratory for this incredible opportunity
• Aegis Aerospace Inc. for their crucial integration support
• VIPC | Virginia Innovation Partnership Corporation for their important role in getting our technology off the ground, quite literally!
