Dr. Kenneth Schmieder joins the Polaris Semiconductor team

Kenneth has over a decade of experience directing R&D that spans basic science through advanced technical demonstrations, in addition to serving in leadership roles within US Government technology working groups. He is joining our team in a joint role as Chief Technology Officer and Principal Device Scientist, supporting our portfolio of federally-funded R&D programs and commercial product development. Kenneth received his PhD in Electrical Engineering from the University of Delaware in 2013, where he was awarded the Bill N. Baron Fellowship for excellence in photovoltaic Ph.D. research (2012). Kenneth also has an M.S. in Biomedical Engineering from Johns Hopkins University (2021), with a focus in Neuroengineering.
